I was recently told I have a small kidney stone and I am quite scared. People say orange juice helps dissolve them, but does it have to be fresh juice or can we eat the whole fruit to get the same benefit? Please guide me.
From what I understand, oranges have citrate which can help prevent calcium oxalate stones from forming. But since I deal with hormonal imbalances, I always prefer to get a proper urine test done and ask my doctor before changing my daily diet drastically.
While the citric acid in oranges can indeed help inhibit stone formation, severe back pain or blood in urine are major red flags. Please get an ultrasound done and consult a urologist immediately rather than relying purely on dietary remedies.
Don't blindly believe that eating oranges or drinking juice will dissolve existing kidney stones. The type of stone you have matters a lot, so please verify with a nephrologist and get a proper prescription instead of self-treating with fruits.
Humare yahan kehte hain ki nimbu aur santre ka ras peene se pathri nikal jati hai kyunki isme khatas hoti hai. Par sath mein bohot saara pani peena bhi zaroori hai, tabhi sharir se pathri bahar nikal payegi.
