Are non obstructive kidney stones dangerous?

I recently had a scan, and the doctor told me I have some non-obstructive kidney stones. He said they aren't causing immediate problems, but I'm still concerned; are non-obstructive kidney stones dangerous in the long run?

I am also quite new to this and trying to understand kidney issues better. If a stone is not blocking anything, does that mean it won't cause any pain at all? Or can it suddenly grow and become a bigger problem later on?

Oh god, even hearing about kidney stones makes me so anxious because I always worry they will suddenly start hurting. Even if they are non-obstructive right now, I would constantly stress about them moving. Please keep consulting your doctor regularly to monitor their size so you don't have to worry.

Haan na, stomach pain matters are so scary. Non-obstructive stones usually don't block the urine flow, so they are not an immediate emergency, but they can still cause discomfort. You should drink lots of water, but keep checking with your doc just to be safe, ho na.

While they might not be dangerous immediately, you should still be very careful about your diet to prevent them from growing. Avoiding high-oxalate foods like spinach and tomatoes, and reducing salt intake can really help. But definitely follow whatever diet plan your urologist recommends.

Bro, my roommate had these last semester and he was totally fine, just had to drink bottles and bottles of water. They aren't super dangerous if they aren't blocking anything, but don't ignore them. Just do your tests and stay hydrated so they don't trouble you during exams!

Haan, filhal toh dangerous nahi hote kyunki flow ruka nahi hai, par dhyan rakhna padta hai na. Agar paani kam pioge toh yeh bade ho sakte hain. Isliye dher saara paani piyo aur regular scan karate raho taaki achanak dard na shuru ho.

I agree that they aren't an immediate threat, but they do require monitoring. Make sure you get an ultrasound done periodically as advised by your physician.
