Are multivitamins bad for your liver?

Friends have been telling me to start taking multivitamins for better immunity and energy. However, I'm a bit hesitant as I heard they might put a strain on the liver; are multivitamins bad for your liver in the long run?

Honestly, I used to panic so much about this too because my anxiety makes me overthink everything I swallow. It feels so stressful trying to stay healthy but worrying if you're actually damaging your body. Just take a deep breath, you are not alone in worrying about this, but it gets better once you talk to a professional.

Why waste money on expensive synthetic tablets and worry about liver load anyway? I just try to eat a simple balanced diet with a lot of green veggies and seasonal fruits from the local market. If you actually have a deficiency, get a simple blood test done first and then only take what is missing.

As someone managing diabetes for ten years, I have to check everything that goes into my body, including daily vitamins. Many times, these chewable tablets have hidden sugars or preservatives that mess with your system. I always show the formulation to my endocrinologist to ensure it's safe for both my liver and my sugar levels.

My teenage son started taking these heavy gym vitamins without asking me and I got so worried about his liver reports. We took him to our family doctor who explained that high doses of Vitamin A and iron can cause issues. Just make sure you aren't letting anyone take extra doses without checking with a pediatrician or physician first.

Bro, if you are popping normal daily multies under the limit, you are totally fine. I've been taking basic ones for a year now and my liver function tests are completely normal. Just don't go crazy with those mega-dose bodybuilding supplements, that's where the real trouble starts.

I always go to Apollo here for my yearly checkups and my doctor there made it very clear. Multivitamins are generally fine, but too much of certain fat-soluble ones can put a load on your liver. Please ask your general physician to write down the exact dose you need instead of self-prescribing.
