Are more people getting cancer?

It feels like almost everyone I know, or their family members, have been affected by cancer these days. It makes me wonder, are more people genuinely getting cancer now than before?

I feel like I hear about cancer so much more now on social media, which is super scary. But my biology professor said it might also be because we have much better testing and diagnostic tools now, so cases get detected early.

With all the pesticides in our food and pollution in the air, the risk definitely seems higher these days. Eating organic, fresh, home-cooked vegetarian meals and avoiding processed junk is the best lifestyle shield we can build for our families.

It is true we see more cases now. While we should use healthy kitchen ingredients like turmeric and amla to boost immunity naturally, we must remember that modern medical treatment is the only real cure for serious diseases.
