Are mental health issues on the rise?

I keep seeing news articles and social media posts about mental health awareness. From what I observe, it seems like more and more people are struggling; are mental health issues truly on the rise?

I think they are on the rise, but sometimes hormonal issues like thyroid are the hidden cause of anxiety and depression. It is very important to get your routine blood tests done and consult a doctor before assuming it is purely psychological.

They definitely seem to be increasing, or maybe we are just talking about them more openly now. I remember feeling so isolated with my panic attacks years ago, but now seeing so many people share their stories makes me feel validated.

Yes, stress levels are definitely higher now. Please talk to a professional if you feel overwhelmed, there is no shame in seeking help.

Our modern lifestyle of constant screens and zero physical movement is causing a lot of this stress. I got high blood pressure because of work tension. Regular medical checkups and a simple daily walk are absolutely necessary these days.

The rise is real, and poor diet plays a huge part in it. High sugar and processed foods mess with our gut health, which is directly linked to mood swings and anxiety. Eating clean is just as important as mental therapy.
