Are macadamia nuts good for diabetics?

I have diabetes and I'm always looking for healthy snack options. I recently came across macadamia nuts and found them quite tasty. Are these nuts considered good for diabetics, or should I limit their consumption?

I used to panic every time I ate anything other than plain almonds, fearing a sugar spike. When I actually tried macadamia nuts, my glucose levels remained perfectly stable. They are high in healthy fats and very low in carbs, so they are quite safe.

Actually, they are amazing for snacks, yaar. They have mostly healthy monounsaturated fats which is great for heart health too. Just buy the unsalted ones, because the salted ones can increase blood pressure.

According to my continuous glucose monitor and health app, macadamias have a very low glycemic index. They didn't cause any glycemic variability for me. Just make sure to track your portions, as they are highly calorie-dense.

Haan, bilkul kha sakte hain, inme carbs bahut kam hote hain na. Par mehenge aate hain aur calorie zyada hoti hai, toh thoda limit mein hi khana sahi rahega. Normal badam-akhrot bhi acche options hain waise.

Humare yahan toh yeh dukanon mein mushkil se milte hain, par suna hai sugar ke rogiyon ke liye acche hain. Agar aapko mile toh thoda sa roz kha sakte hain, par humare yahan ke dehati badam aur akhrot bhi utne hi faydemand hain.

They are a great quick snack to keep in your office drawer because they don't spike blood sugar and keep you full for long. However, since diabetes management is highly individual, make sure to consult your dietitian about daily portion limits.
