Are liver flukes real?

I was reading some weird articles online about parasites, and I came across something called 'liver flukes.' It sounded really creepy. Are liver flukes actual real parasites that can affect humans?

Yes, they are 100% real parasites. You usually get them from eating raw or undercooked freshwater fish or contaminated water plants. If you are experiencing unexplained stomach pain or fever after traveling, go get a proper stool test done.

Yes beta, they are real worm infections that can get into the liver. Home remedies like drinking warm water or taking neem cannot cure this if it actually happens. You must go to a good hospital and take the proper worm medicine prescribed by a doctor.

Yes, they are real parasitic worms. It is highly recommended to always wash your vegetables thoroughly and avoid half-cooked freshwater fish to prevent them.

I recently recovered from a severe parasitic liver infection after eating street food near a local lake. The abdominal pain and nausea were absolutely terrible. Please get tested by a doctor if you suspect anything, don't wait.

I can't give medical advice, but a colleague of mine actually contracted a parasitic liver infection during a trip where he ate raw fish. He had severe abdominal pain and fever before getting diagnosed. It's definitely a real thing, so be careful about food hygiene.
