Are kidney stones life threatening?

My son had a terrible kidney stone attack recently and was in so much pain, it scared us all. I'm really concerned. Can kidney stones be life threatening if they get too big or cause complications?

Bro, don't stress too much! They are definitely not life-threatening, though the pain might make you feel like you're dying for a bit. Just drink lots of water and get a doctor to check it out so you can relax.

I totally get it, when you are in that much pain, it is easy to worry if it is something dangerous. But rest assured, kidney stones themselves are not life-threatening. Just make sure to see a doctor so you can get the right pain relief.

They are usually not dangerous, but my doctor told me that if a stone completely blocks urine flow, it can cause severe infection or kidney swelling. That is when it can get serious. So it is always best to monitor it with a urologist.

They are not fatal, but to be completely safe, you should go to a proper hospital and get a scan done. Ask your doctor clearly about the size of the stone and if there is any blockage. It is better to get professional advice early.

No, they are not life-threatening, so please keep your mind at ease. My daughter had one last year and we were terrified, but the doctor reassured us completely. Just follow the treatment and ensure they stay hydrated.

Haan, pain toh bohot kharab hota hai, par life-threatening nahi hai yaar, tension mat lo. Bas doctor ko dikha kar thoda treatment start karwa lo aur paani khub piyo. Thik ho jaoge jaldi, na!
