Are kidney beans keto?

Since starting a keto diet to lose weight, I'm trying to figure out which Indian foods fit in. Are kidney beans considered suitable for a ketogenic diet, or do they have too many carbs?

Not really. They contain around 22 grams of carbs per 100g, which is too high for a strict keto diet. My nutritionist told me that even a small portion can easily kick you out of ketosis.

I completely understand how stressful it is to plan meals when you are on a strict diet and don't want to mess up. Unfortunately, kidney beans have too many carbs for keto, which can be disappointing to hear.

Bilkul nahi bhai. Keto par ho toh rajma se door hi raho. Isme carb kaafi jyada hota hai, tumhara keto diet kharab ho jayega.

Keto diets don't usually allow these beans because of the starch. If you are doing keto for some health issue and feel weak, please consult your doctor immediately instead of adjusting things on your own.

No way, they are definitely not keto. Honestly, keeping up with keto is too exhausting anyway, I'd rather just eat my rajma chawal and sleep peacefully.
