Are kidney beans high in fiber?

Trying to improve my digestion and ensure I'm getting enough fiber in my diet. I know pulses are good, but are kidney beans specifically a high-fiber food that I should include more often?

Yes, they are exceptionally high in fiber. That is why they keep you full for longer. Just introduce them slowly in your diet so your stomach doesn't feel heavy.

The fiber content is actually what makes them so great for my sugar levels. It slows down digestion, which is very helpful, but I still make sure to measure my portions carefully.

I didn't know they had that much fiber. Does eating them with rice reduce the benefit, or is it okay to have them together? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Yes, they have a lot of fiber! I started making a mild kidney bean salad for my child to help with constipation. It has really worked wonders for his digestion.

I used to worry so much about getting enough fiber without messing up my stomach. Finding out that kidney beans are so high in fiber really eased my mind. They are super helpful.

Absolutely, they are a fiber powerhouse. When I started eating them for better digestion, I made the mistake of not drinking enough water. Make sure you hydrate well, or high-fiber foods can constipate you.
