Are kidney beans good for diabetics?

My mother has diabetes, and we're always looking for food options that are healthy and don't spike her sugar. Are kidney beans a good choice for someone with diabetes?

Actually, kidney beans are pretty good because they have a low glycemic index, yaar. They don't spike your sugar suddenly like white rice does. Just control the portion size and don't make them too oily.

Hamare ghar mein bhi sab rajma bahut pasand karte hain. Yeh sugar ke mareezon ke liye accha hota hai kyunki isse pet jaldi bharta hai aur kamzori nahi hoti. Bas dhyan se dahi ke sath khaiye aur thoda kam masale dalie.

Honestly, don't just rely on internet advice for diabetes. Everybody reacts differently to carbs. You should ask your doctor or dietician first and monitor your sugar levels after eating them.

I really want to include them in my diet, but I get so worried about my sugar readings afterward. Does anyone else feel like their glucose goes up even with healthy beans? I'd love to know how you guys manage it.

My grandmother always said kidney beans are very nourishing, but when my father got diabetes, our family doctor told us to balance the carbs. They are fine to eat, but you must keep an eye on the overall daily portion.

Yes, absolutely! Rajma is packed with good fiber and protein, making it excellent for health 🌾. Just pair it with brown rice or some salad to keep it super healthy and fun!
