Are grapes ok after vomiting?

My little son had a bad bout of vomiting last night, and he's feeling quite weak today. I want to give him something light and hydrating. Are grapes okay to offer him after vomiting, or should I stick to other things?

Honestly, I would stay away from grapes right now. Last year I had severe food poisoning and ate some cold grapes thinking it would make me feel fresh, but the high acid and sugar completely wrecked my stomach again. If you keep vomiting, please don't experiment at home and just go see a doctor.

Beta, better to avoid grapes immediately after vomiting because they are sour and can irritate your stomach lining. Instead, try having lukewarm ginger water or dry toast first to settle the stomach. Once you feel a bit stable, then you can slowly try light things like coconut water or basic rice water.

Arre, my stomach gets angry if I even look at spicy food these days, let alone digesting grapes after a vomiting session. Grapes have too much fiber and acid for an upset tummy, so spare your system the hard work. Stick to simple warm water and rest, the grapes can wait in the fridge for a couple of days.

I've gone through this multiple times during bad stomach bugs. Grapes have thick skin and a lot of natural sugar which is very hard for a weak stomach to digest right after vomiting. Stick to a simple ORS solution or electral first for a few hours, then move to soft foods like banana or khichdi.

At my age with high BP, I have to be very careful with sudden dehydration from vomiting. I wouldn't recommend grapes as they don't do much for electrolyte loss and can irritate the stomach. Focus on getting proper hydration like ORS, and keep an eye on your weakness and blood pressure.

My grandmother always says to avoid any sour fruit like grapes after vomiting as it spoils the stomach balance, and my doctor also recommends the same. It is best to stick to plain kanji water with a pinch of salt. If the vomiting doesn't stop by evening, definitely consult a doctor.

Oh no, hope you are feeling okay now! I get so anxious when my stomach is upset and always overthink what to eat. Grapes have that thin skin which might be tough to digest and the acid can cause reflux, so maybe avoid them? Try having just plain warm water first to see if it stays down.

Hey, don't stress too much, just let your stomach rest for a bit. Grapes might be too sweet and acidic right now and could trigger another round of vomiting, so skip them today. Just sip some plain coconut water slowly, watch your favorite show, and chill.

Better to stick to simple boiled rice water or electral right now because if the vomiting starts again, clinic visits and glucose drips will end up costing a lot of money. Don't risk it with grapes or outside fruits. Let the stomach settle down naturally today with basic home stuff.

Vomiting throws off the body's natural balance and energy levels. It is best to give your digestive system complete rest instead of pushing raw fruits like grapes, which require heavy energy to process. Take deep, calm breaths, sip warm water with a little rock salt, and let your body heal.
