Are electrolytes good after vomiting?

I had a terrible stomach bug yesterday with a lot of vomiting, and I feel really dehydrated and weak now. My mother suggested drinking ORS for electrolytes. Are electrolytes generally good for recovering after vomiting to help with dehydration?

I had a terrible stomach bug last week and kept throwing up. Electrolytes literally saved me from fainting. Just sip them slowly, don't gulp down a whole glass at once, or your stomach might reject it again.

Yes, vomiting flushes out essential salts from your body, so electrolytes are crucial to prevent muscle cramps and weakness. Avoid any heavy workouts for a couple of days and stick to light walks once your strength is back.

Electrolytes are very important to restore hydration. If you don't have ORS at home, you can make a simple mix of clean water, a pinch of salt, and a little sugar. Drink it in small sips throughout the day.

Get some Electoral or ORS right away, it will make you feel so much better. Vomiting drains all your energy, so hydration is super important. Take rest and don't stress too much, you'll be fine by tomorrow!

Electrolytes are definitely good, but make sure you use standard ORS packets from the chemist. Avoid those high-sugar sports drinks as the excess sugar can sometimes make diarrhea or stomach cramps worse.
