Are eggs bad for psoriasis?

I've been dealing with psoriasis for a few years now, and sometimes certain foods seem to make it worse. My skin flares up quite often. Eggs are a staple in my diet, so I'm really curious if they might be contributing to my condition.

For inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, some people find that eggs, especially the yolk, trigger flare-ups. Since I also manage my sugar, I try to keep my diet very clean and limited in inflammatory foods.

Don't stress, psoriasis flares up more when you are anxious. Try skipping eggs for two weeks and see if your skin improves. It's a simple way to check if they are a trigger for you.

I always prefer natural solutions like applying virgin coconut oil on patches, but for diet, you must observe. Eggs can cause heat in the body for some, so see a doctor if your itching is very severe.

Skin issues can be so hard to deal with, I really feel for you. Everyone's body reacts differently to eggs. Maybe keeping a food diary will help you figure out what works for your skin.

Hey bro, don't stress too much! Psoriasis is highly linked to stress anyway. Try eating egg whites instead of the whole egg for a while and see if it makes your skin happier.

In Ayurveda, eggs are considered warm or 'tamasic' food which might increase skin irritation. You can try applying a little fresh aloe vera gel on the skin, and keep your diet simple and cooling.

My daughter has mild psoriasis. We noticed that dairy and eggs sometimes make her itching worse during winters. We cut down on eggs and it actually helped reduce her flare-ups quite a bit.
