Are egg noodles ok for diabetics?

I was at a restaurant, and they had egg noodles, which I really like. As a diabetic, I'm always checking food options. Are egg noodles generally okay for diabetics to eat, or should I be careful?

Along with sugar, thyroid issues also slow down digestion. I keep a check on my reports every three months and discuss my diet list with the doctor. It's best to ask your physician if you can have egg noodles and how often.

It is always safer to check your blood sugar levels two hours after eating noodles. Different brands have different amounts of refined flour, which can spike your glucose. Please consult your doctor or specialist before making them a regular part of your diet.

My teenager has type 1, and we have to be very careful with noodles. Normal store-bought egg noodles still have too much simple carbs. We buy high-protein or almond flour noodles instead, and add lots of real eggs and boiled vegetables to make it safe.

Beta, processed foods are not good for diabetes. Our traditional grains like barley, ragi, and whole wheat are much safer. If you do eat noodles occasionally, drink some warm methi seed water in the morning to keep your digestion smooth.

Hey, it is so tough to curb those cravings! Egg noodles do have a bit more protein than normal ones, but they still have white flour. Maybe have a very small bowl with lots of stir-fried paneer or chicken to balance the carbs.

I recently managed to bring my HbA1c down from 8.2 to 6.1 through strict diet control. Trust me, staying away from all maida noodles made a huge difference. If you really crave it, try zucchini zoodles or very small portions of millet noodles.

Arre don't stress too much, buddy! Having it once in a blue moon won't ruin everything. Just don't make it a daily habit, and make sure you do a light walk after eating to help your body process it.

I am new to managing my diet and still learning. I heard egg noodles have more protein, so are they really better than regular wheat noodles? If anyone has a safe brand recommendation, please let me know.
