Are egg noodles good for kidney patients?

My mother has chronic kidney disease, and we are very careful about her diet. She likes noodles, but I'm not sure about egg noodles specifically. Are egg noodles a good or safe option for kidney patients?

They actually have more phosphorus and protein because of the eggs, which might not be great for kidney issues. Better to skip them and check with a nephrologist to be safe.

Egg yolks contain a lot of phosphorus which can put pressure on weak kidneys. For kidney health, eating simple gourd vegetables like lauki is much better. Please consult your doctor for a proper diet chart.

Agree with others, they are not ideal because of the high phosphorus content. Plain white rice or rice noodles are much safer options for kidney health.

In my experience, managing kidney health requires keeping a very close watch on phosphorus and sodium. Egg noodles are usually high in both, so it is best to avoid them and eat plain rice or simple wheat rotis instead.

Hey! Egg noodles have higher phosphorus and protein than regular noodles, which can be tough on the kidneys. It is much safer to stick to simple rice-based noodles instead!
