Are edibles bad for liver and kidneys?

My friend has been using edibles, and I heard they can be bad for your internal organs. Specifically, I'm worried if they are harmful for both the liver and kidneys. Is this true?

They are not directly toxic like alcohol or strong medicines. But remember, the liver and kidneys process everything we eat. Drinking lots of water and warm lemon water in the morning is a great way to help your organs flush out toxins.

No, they don't cause the kind of severe damage that alcohol does to the liver and kidneys. However, moderate use is always best to avoid overloading your system.

I literally spend hours researching this because I'm terrified of kidney issues. From what I found, there's no major link between moderate edible use and organ damage. Still, please stay hydrated and don't overdo it for your own peace of mind.

I totally get it, worrying about your vital organs is very natural. Edibles are processed through your system, but they don't have the harsh toxic effects of alcohol or heavy pills. Just keep your usage moderate and stay well hydrated.

I had some liver enzyme issues last year and had to clean up my lifestyle. My doctor said occasional edibles are fine and won't harm the liver or kidneys, but excess of anything, even sugar or fat in those edibles, can cause issues.
