Are cucumbers kidney friendly?

My husband has some kidney issues, and we're always looking for safe foods for him. We eat a lot of cucumbers in salads. Are they generally considered safe and beneficial for kidney health, or should we moderate his intake?

Haan bilkul, kheere me paani kaafi hota hai toh kidney ke liye toh accha hi hai na. Bas agar doctor ne strict potassium restriction bola hai, toh ek baar unse confirm kar lena chahiye.

Honestly, with my busy schedule, keeping cucumber slices handy is the easiest way to stay hydrated. But if you have chronic kidney disease, please consult your nephrologist as diet restrictions can be very specific.

Generally, cucumbers are safe and have a good water-to-potassium ratio. However, kidney health requires professional monitoring. Please get your serum creatinine and potassium levels checked before altering your daily diet.

Cucumbers are very cooling, haan na. My uncle has some mild kidney issues and the doctor told him to eat cucumbers in moderation. But definitely ask your doctor first to avoid any confusion.

I also wanted to know this because my father has high uric acid. Is cucumber okay for him to eat daily, or should we limit it? Please let me know if anyone has experience.
