Are cucumbers good for diabetics?

My doctor advised me to eat more vegetables to manage my diabetes. I enjoy eating cucumbers as a snack or in salads. Are cucumbers a good choice for diabetics, or do they contain anything I should be careful about?

Yes, cucumbers are quite good because they have a very low glycemic index and won't spike your blood sugar. It is a great snack between meals. Just make sure you are checking your sugar levels regularly as advised.

Cucumbers are generally safe, but when my diabetes got severe, even small changes in diet affected me differently. Please check with your doctor first. Don't rely only on home remedies when managing diabetes.

People say cucumbers are completely safe, but everyone's body reacts differently. It is always better to get a proper HbA1c test done and show the reports to your physician before changing your diet plan.

I completely understand how stressful it is to worry about what to eat when you have diabetes, I used to overanalyze every bite. Cucumbers are actually very safe and low in carbs, so you can breathe easy about this one.

Honestly, I worry so much about blood sugar spikes too, but cucumber is mostly water so it shouldn't cause issues. Still, maybe eat a small portion first and track your sugar after two hours just to be completely sure?

Haan yaar, kheera toh sugar patients ke liye best snack hai. Isse stomach bhara rehta hai aur sugar bhi nahi badhti na. Bas black salt daal kar khao, cold drinks aur juice se bacho.
