Are chills a sign of heart attack?

I sometimes get sudden chills, even when it's not cold. My father had a heart attack a few years ago, and I'm concerned if this feeling could be connected to heart problems. Are chills a sign of a heart attack?

Do not seek answers on the internet for life-threatening symptoms. While chills alone are usually from a fever, if they are accompanied by chest pain, shortness of breath, or sweating, you must call an ambulance immediately. Go to a hospital emergency room right away.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to worry about heart issues, the anxiety alone can make you feel cold and shivery. If you have any actual chest discomfort or pressure, please don't wait and go get checked at a hospital immediately to be safe.

Chills alone are typically a sign of a viral infection or fever. However, cold sweats accompanied by chest tightness, radiating pain in the arm or jaw, and dizziness are red flags for a heart attack. If you have those, please head to the nearest emergency room immediately.

I am not an expert, but chills are generally associated with infections. However, since heart symptoms can be very tricky and unexpected, please go to a clinic or hospital immediately if you feel any chest pain, breathing difficulty, or sudden weakness.

As someone managing blood pressure, I always keep an eye out for sudden symptoms. Chills on their own are usually just fever, but if there is any chest discomfort, severe dizziness, or shortness of breath, please go to a hospital immediately. Do not ignore these signs.

Chills with fever is normal yaar, but chills with chest pain is actually super serious. If you or anyone is feeling heavy chest, sweating, or breathlessness along with it, please don't sit at home. Go to the casualty ward immediately.

A standard presentation of a heart attack involves chest pain, pressure, and radiating discomfort, sometimes with cold sweats rather than simple chills. However, any sudden, unexplained chest distress or breathing trouble warrants immediate emergency medical evaluation. Please do not delay.
