Are cherries a good fruit for diabetics?

I'm a diabetic and always looking for fruits that won't mess with my blood sugar. My wife bought some cherries, and I was wondering if cherries are a good fruit for diabetics.

I used to eat fruits blindly thinking they are all healthy, which led to a massive sugar spike and a hospital visit. Cherries have a lower glycemic index, but please get your blood sugar checked regularly and consult your doctor before making them a regular snack.

In my experience, fresh cherries are actually quite good because they have antioxidants and a lower glycemic index than mangoes. Just make sure you don't eat the canned ones in syrup, as those are full of artificial sugar. Stick to a small handful of fresh ones.

Yes, fresh cherries are generally fine for diabetics in small quantities. Just make sure to monitor your sugar levels after eating them.

Fresh sour cherries have a glycemic index of around 22, which is quite low, making them a reasonable option for diabetic diets. However, individual glycemic responses can vary. It is always best to consult your endocrinologist or dietician for personalized portion advice.

They are quite good for overall cardiovascular health too, which is helpful if you manage blood pressure like me. Just keep an eye on the portions so you don't overdo the natural sugars. Regular medical checkups are essential to track how your body is doing.

Beta, fresh fruits like jamun and sour cherries are good for the body, but moderation is key. Do not eat too many at once, and avoid any processed cherry juices from the market. A small portion of natural fruit after a light walk is best.

Haan, fresh cherries are actually pretty good, na, because of their low GI. Just avoid those sweet maraschino cherries they put on cakes, those are pure sugar. Keep it natural and simple.
