Are cavities brown?

I noticed a light brown spot on my back tooth recently. Can cavities also be brown, or are they usually darker?

Honestly, yes, they are often brown or even yellow! I thought they had to be jet black, so I ignored a brown spot while drinking coffee to stay awake for exams. Ended up paying a heavy price at the clinic, so don't make my mistakes!

Actually yaar, my dentist told me brown spots are super common cavity signs. I thought only black ones were bad, but that's a myth. Just go get it filled before it starts hurting, seriously.

I totally get it, seeing any new spot on your teeth can be quite unsettling. Brown spots can indeed be cavities, but sometimes they are just mild stains too. Getting a dentist's opinion will definitely help clear your mind.

They can absolutely be brown. While eating crunchy vegetables helps clean teeth naturally, it cannot reverse decay once a brown spot has formed. Be very careful and consult a professional for proper advice.

My last cavity was actually a light brown spot on my lower molar. It didn't hurt at all, but the dentist said it was deep enough to need a filling. I can't say if every brown spot is a cavity, but that was my experience.

Haan, bilkul brown ho sakti hain! Many times we think it's just normal stains, but decay can start like that, na. Don't take a risk and just show it to a local dentist once.

Yes, they can be brown and it really scares me! I noticed a small brown spot on my back tooth last week and now I'm constantly worrying. Has anyone else had a brown spot that turned out to be totally fine, or should I panic?

Yes, brown discoloration is very common when the enamel starts breaking down. As a nurse, I tell my friends to not wait for pain or black spots. A quick filling is simple and painless if caught at this stage.

Yes, brown spots can indicate active decay. I always go to Columbia Asia for my health checkups and the dental department there told me to never ignore brown lines. It is always safest to ask your doctor clearly rather than guessing.

They definitely can be brown. Just like maintaining physical fitness requires noticing small changes in your body, oral health needs attention before it gets bad. Limit sugary pre-workouts and have a dentist look at any discoloration.

Bro, my tooth had this brown line and I thought it was just from drinking too much chai during semester prep. Turns out it was actually a cavity. Better get it checked before you end up needing a major treatment during exams!
