Are cashew nuts good for diabetics?

My father is diabetic, and we're always looking for healthy snack options for him. I heard somewhere that cashew nuts might be good. Is this true?

I was just reading up on this because my dad was recently diagnosed. It seems cashews have a low glycemic index and actually contain magnesium which is good for blood sugar control. It's pretty interesting how natural nuts can help if eaten in the right quantity.

Haan na, raw cashews are actually quite good because they have healthy fats that are good for the heart. My husband takes 4-5 cashews daily with his morning almonds and his sugar levels are perfectly fine. Just don't buy the salted or fried ones, ho na.

Cashews are my absolute favorite snack when I get those evening cravings! For diabetics, they are a lifesaver because they give you that rich, buttery feeling without a sugar spike. Just keep a small katori of plain cashews handy so you don't overindulge.

Nature has blessed us with so many healthy foods to sustain our bodies. Cashews, when eaten raw and in small amounts, provide warmth and strength to the system. Take care of your health, eat naturally, and keep a peaceful mind.

Hello, I am trying to make a safe diet chart for my grandfather who has high sugar. Are raw cashews better than roasted ones, or is it okay to lightly dry-roast them at home without oil? I want to make sure I don't give him anything unsafe.
