Are blood sugar spikes bad for non diabetics?

I've been tracking my diet and sometimes after eating, I feel a bit lethargic. I heard about blood sugar spikes and how they are bad for diabetics. Do non-diabetics also need to worry about their blood sugar spiking, or is it not an issue?

There are too many fitness influencers online trying to scare healthy people about sugar spikes to sell their supplements. A normal body produces insulin to handle these spikes easily. Don't trust internet advice, verify with a real doctor.

Even if you aren't diabetic, constant spikes from bad eating habits can eventually lead to insulin resistance. I ignored my high sugar diet for years until I faced severe health issues. Get your fasting sugar and HbA1c checked by a doctor.

I completely understand the anxiety of watching health videos and worrying about every little symptom. It's really scary. But remember, non-diabetic bodies are built to manage these fluctuations naturally. Try not to stress too much.

I was facing crazy energy crashes after meals and thought I was becoming diabetic. After checking with my doctor and running tests, it turned out my body was just reacting to too much processed food. Changing my diet sorted it out completely.

I panicked so much after wearing a continuous glucose monitor out of curiosity and seeing my sugar jump after eating rice. My doctor laughed and said it's totally normal for non-diabetics to have spikes. It's how the body works, so don't worry.

At Jupiter Hospital, my physician explained that transient spikes are normal, but chronic spikes can stress your pancreas. It's always best to get a proper blood panel and ask your doctor clearly about your metabolic health.
