Are bladder stones the same as kidney stones?

My father has a history of kidney stones, and now my uncle is talking about bladder stones. Are these two conditions related? I always thought they were just kidney stones.

No, they are anatomically distinct. Kidney stones form inside the kidneys, whereas bladder stones develop in the urinary bladder, often due to incomplete emptying. Since treatment approaches vary, consulting a urologist is highly recommended.

S seedhi baat hai, dono alag hain. Ek upar kidney mein banta hai, dusra neeche bladder mein. Agar kisi ko dukh rha hai toh ghar pe mat baitho, seedha doctor ke paas jaake test karao.

Nope, they are not the same. They form in different places. My dad had kidney stones last year and the doctor told us bladder stones are a different issue altogether. It's super important to get them checked properly.

No, they are different. Just like my high blood pressure, these issues are often linked to our lifestyle and water intake. Regular medical checkups and ultrasound tests are necessary to find out exactly where the stone is and how to treat it.

I’ve been up since 3 AM with my crying toddler, but even in my zombie state, I can tell you they are totally different locations. One is in the kidney, one in the bladder. Both sound incredibly painful though, so drink your water!
