Are blackberries good for diabetes 2?

I have Type 2 diabetes and I'm always looking for healthy snacks. I heard that berries are generally good for health. Could blackberries be a beneficial addition to my diet for managing my sugar levels?

They are actually really good. On my continuous glucose monitor (CGM), blackberries barely raise my blood sugar curve because their glycemic load is extremely low. Plus, you get great fiber tracking data.

Yes bro, blackberries are a solid option. They are low calorie and packed with antioxidants. Just pair them with a handful of almonds or walnuts to slow down absorption even further, and keep up with your daily walks.

Dekho, blackberries are safe to eat, but that doesn't mean you eat a whole box at once. Limit it to a small bowl a day. Sugar is sugar at the end of the day, so moderation is key.

They are good, but blackberries can be a bit expensive in our local markets sometimes. Jamun is a great, affordable local alternative with similar benefits for diabetes. You can try whatever suits your pocket.
