Are beans good for the liver?

My doctor told me my liver values are a bit off, and I need to improve my diet. I've been researching foods that are good for the liver, and some sources mention beans. Are they truly beneficial for liver health?

Honestly, don't just start eating tons of beans because someone on some forum told u it heals the liver. Everyone's body is different, especially with liver issues. Better to just ask your doctor in your next visit before changing your diet too much.

They actually are quite good because they have good fiber and protein, which helps keep the liver healthy. Just make sure you cook them properly so they don't cause major bloating or gas. If you have any serious liver condition, please ask your doctor about your overall protein intake limit first.

Haa, humare yahan toh rajma aur mung dal ko bahut achha maante hain pet ke liye. Par isko acche se ubaal kar khana chahiye, thoda haldi aur hing daal kar. Liver ke liye halka khana hamesha sabse badhiya hota hai babu.

I totally get it, when we are worried about our health, we try to look up every single food to see if it helps. Beans are generally very healthy and have good antioxidants, so they should be good. Just dont stress yourself too much and eat a simple, balanced diet.

I completely understand how stressful this is, I used to keep searching about liver health every day on my phone and felt so scared. Actually, normal beans like rajma or chana in medium amounts are perfectly fine and healthy. Just get a simple LFT done once if you are worrying too much, it really helps calm the mind.
