Are bananas good for piles?

Since a few weeks, I've been struggling with piles and it's quite uncomfortable. My neighbour suggested eating bananas to help with digestion and pain. I just wanted to know if this is actually a good idea.

Honestly, don't just rely on internet tips for piles, as what works for mild constipation might worsen things if you have severe fissures or bleeding piles. My colleague tried eating tons of bananas and his pain actually got worse because he wasn't drinking enough water. Please show a proper doctor first to understand the grade of your piles rather than self-treating.

I get so scared every time I have stomach issues, and piles pain is just the absolute worst. From what I have read, ripe bananas are good for easy motions, but if they are even slightly raw, they might constrict your bowels and cause more strain. I would suggest talking to your family doctor once just to be totally safe so you don't end up making it more painful.

A fully ripe banana with a glass of warm milk at night is a traditional way to ease bowel movements. But if you have severe swelling or if there is blood, home remedies alone will not cure it. In those cases, you must consult an ayurvedic doctor or a general surgeon immediately.

Hey, don't worry too much, this is a very common issue and highly manageable. Yes, ripe bananas are generally safe and soften the passage, but please don't push yourself if you are in extreme pain. Make sure you are also drinking lots of water, and if the pain or bleeding is heavy, go to a general surgeon without any hesitation, okay?

Bro, I had this nightmare last year during exams. Eating one fully ripe banana daily in the morning actually helped keep things smooth, but the real game-changer was stopping all that spicy street food and junk. If it's hurting too much while sitting, don't ignore it, just go get a quick checkup done.

Please be careful if you are managing diabetes like me, because eating too many bananas to relieve piles can spike your blood sugar levels quite quickly. I have to manage my piles with high-fiber green veggies and salads instead of sweet fruits. Definitely talk to your diabetologist before adding extra bananas to your daily diet.

Ripe bananas can help because they soften the stool, but don't eat them if they are yellow-greenish. Along with that, simple ghar pe steps like sitting in a tub of warm water for 10 minutes and drinking plenty of warm water through the day will give you major relief. Keep your diet very light and skip spicy food entirely for a few days.

While diet plays a role in digestion, piles can sometimes get complicated or turn out to be something else like a deep fissure. It is always best to get a proper clinical examination by a specialist first. They can guide you if you need a stool softener or specific medical treatment instead of relying only on fruits.
