Are bananas bad for kidney stones?

I recently had a kidney stone, and the doctor advised me to be careful with my diet. I usually eat a banana daily for potassium. Are bananas something I should avoid now because of kidney stones?

Instead of guessing which food causes stones and spending thousands on repeated ultrasound tests, it's better to plan properly. Bananas are cheap and have potassium which is generally good, but you must drink 3-4 liters of water daily. Water is the cheapest and best way to prevent stones.

Actually, bananas are great for kidney stones! They are loaded with potassium which helps lower calcium levels in your urine. So go ahead and enjoy your daily kela without any worry! 🍌😊

I read somewhere that the oxalates in bananas could be bad for calcium stones, and now I am super anxious about eating them. Has anyone else felt this fear or had any issues after eating bananas? I really want to be sure before I touch them again.

Ghar pe simple rule rakho, drink plenty of water and eat normal food. Bananas have good potassium and vitamin B6 which actually help prevent stone formation. No need to buy fancy juices or expensive medicines, just eat a banana daily and stay hydrated.

I went through a terrible phase of kidney stone pain last year, and I was so scared to eat literally anything. I know how stressful it is to doubt every fruit or vegetable. But my doctor assured me bananas are totally safe and actually helpful, so please don't stress yourself out.
