Are baked chips good for diabetics?

Occasionally, I crave something crunchy like chips, but I have diabetes. I usually opt for the baked versions, thinking they are healthier. Are baked chips a good snack option for diabetics, or should I avoid them too?

Baked chips still contain a high amount of simple carbs and starch. It is always better to check your blood glucose levels after eating them.

They are still refined carbs, so they will impact your blood sugar. If you can't resist, have a very small portion and go for a brisk walk afterward to manage the spike, if your doctor allows it.

Baked chips are slightly better than deep-fried ones, but they can still cause sugar spikes because of the high carbohydrate content. Try to limit them and stay healthy.

Dekho, baked ho ya fried, aaloo toh aaloo hi hai na. Chips khane se sugar badhega hi. Isse achha roasted makhana ya chana khao, woh safe hai.

Baked chips are basically fried chips with a better PR team! They will still spike your sugar, so maybe keep them for very rare occasions and stick to cucumber slices for crunch.

Haan yaar, marketing waale baked bol ke bechte hain, par unhealthy toh hota hi hai na. Potatoes mein starch bohot hota hai. Iski jagah roasted snacks try karo, woh zyada sahi rahega.
