Are apple bad for diabetics?

My doctor has advised me to control my blood sugar better as I have type 2 diabetes. I love eating fruit, especially apples, but I'm confused about their sugar content. Are apples bad for diabetics, or can I still eat them in moderation?

Not at all bad! 🍎 My dad is diabetic and he eats a small apple almost every day as an afternoon snack. Just avoid drinking apple juice, eat the whole fruit with the skin instead for that healthy fiber kick! 😊

Apples are generally okay because of the fiber, but everyone's body reacts differently to fructose. It is always safest to check your blood sugar before and two hours after eating one to see how it affects your levels. Better to consult your doctor for a personalized diet chart.

Suno, apple khane se sugar sudden up nahi bhaagegi, but control me khana. Don't go eating two or three big apples in a single day. Have a small one with some almonds to balance it out, and you are good to go.

Relax, apples are not bad for you at all. They have a low glycemic index, so they don't cause sudden sugar spikes like sweets do. Just keep the portion size moderate—one small or medium apple a day is perfectly fine. Don't stress too much about it.

In our house, we always prefer natural solutions. My husband has had diabetes for ten years now, and he eats a small green or red apple regularly. Sometimes we sprinkle a tiny pinch of cinnamon powder on the slices, as it is very good for managing blood sugar levels.
