Zerunio exists to make trustworthy health information easy to understand. Every article follows the standards below so you can rely on what you read.
How we create content
- Written by health writers who translate research into plain language.
- Sourced from evidence – systematic reviews, randomized trials, and guidelines from bodies such as the NHS, WHO, CDC, and NICE, plus peer-reviewed literature. Every clinical claim links to a primary source.
- Medically reviewed – a credentialed clinician checks accuracy before publication (see our medical review process).
Evidence & sourcing
We prefer the highest-quality evidence available and grade it openly (see the medical-review page). We avoid single studies presented as settled fact, cite our sources, and distinguish established consensus from emerging or contested findings.
Plain language & accessibility
We write for real people, define medical terms, and offer a plain-language reading mode. Content is structured with clear headings, summaries, and key takeaways.
Independence
Editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and commercial partners. Ads and any sponsored content are clearly labelled and never change our clinical guidance (see Advertising & disclosure).
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to help draft summaries or suggestions, but a human writer and a medical reviewer are responsible for every published article. AI-generated community answers (MediMind) are always labelled as such and are not a substitute for professional advice.
Freshness & corrections
Health information dates. We schedule articles for re-review and update them as evidence changes. Spotted an error? Email editorial@zerunio.com and we'll review it promptly and correct the record.
